49 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa

The Saudi Competitiveness & Business Center's Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 49 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 19 government agencies, SCBC invites the general public, government agencies, and the private sector to share their feedback on projects before their approval.

Key projects presented on the platform include the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's project titled “Amendment to Article 13 of the Implementing Regulations of the Telecommunications and Information Technology Law." The project aims to enhance the clarity of the provisions governing the requirement to obtain the Authority's no-objection when making a substantial change to the senior management of a licensee or registrant. Public feedback on the project is open until August 18, 2026.

The Saudi Food & Drug Authority has also launched the project “Requirements and Conditions for the Clearance of Re-imported Products Regulated." The project aims to define the conditions and requirements that must be met for the customs clearance of Saudi-origin products when they are re-imported into the Kingdom after being exported. Public feedback on the project is open until August 22, 2026.

The Saudi Health Council has put forward the project “National Policy for Health Services for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder." The project aims to coordinate and integrate efforts among relevant health entities to ensure the provision of comprehensive and effective healthcare and rehabilitation services for people with autism spectrum disorder. Public feedback on the project is open until August 22, 2026.

The introduction of draft regulations, publics, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. In addition, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
