47 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa
The Saudi Competitiveness & Business Center's (SCBC) unified electronic Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 47 projects related to economic and development affairs, in cooperation with 26 government entities. The platform enables stakeholders to share their feedback and proposals on the projects before their approval.
The projects presented on the platform include the Saudi Red Sea Authority's “Requirements & Conditions for Saudi Yachts." The project aims to develop the regulatory framework by converting the regulations into clear requirements and conditions, thereby enhancing procedural efficiency and improving the customer journey. Public feedback on the project is open until November 6, 2026.
The Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture has also put forward the project “Updating the Executive Regulations for Protected Areas." The project aims to introduce provisions enabling the regulations to be applied within the geographical boundaries of royal reserves and other protected areas. Public feedback on the project is open until November 6, 2026.
The platform also features the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's project “Regulations for developing planned lands designated for housing support programs according to Article 13 of the Municipal Real Estate Disposal Regulations issued by Royal Order No. 40125 dated 29/06/1441 AH." The project aims to establish mechanisms for investment in municipal land in exchange for its development or the construction of housing units for beneficiaries of developmental housing and others, in accordance with the Regulations Governing the Disposal of Municipal Real Estate. Public feedback on the project is open until November 10, 2026.
The introduction of draft laws, regulations, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform reflects the Kingdom's continued commitment to enhancing transparency in the legislative environment, promoting a culture of public consultation among the general public, government entities, and the private sector, and engaging them in shaping projects related to the business environment.
